So, I’m checking out Google Ads, just to see about getting a few bucks for bandwidth costs. They’re on the sidebar. Click on ’em, just for fun, why don’t you?
The ones I saw when I just loaded it up were for “The Passion” and for a free Jesus video. How’s that for irony? Please click on my ads, but please don’t buy those products, as I consider them idolatrous.
UPDATE: Oh great, one of them’s even by a Mormon.
I IN NO WAY ENDORSE THE CONTENT OF ANY AD ON MY SITE (except Netflix. Netflix r0x0rs). USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Also, there is a Google Search Bar at the bottom of this page. Please use this search bar for all your searching needs.
Come on. Do a brother a solid.
Wait . . . really? Idolatrous?
Yeah, images of Christ, and all that. I know, how very _Presbyterian_ of me.
What kind of Presbyterian? I have a friend who is, and I’ve never heard him say such a thing. Just curious, not combative.
I’m actually not Presbyterian, but Reformed. But the Presbyterian creed, the Westminster Confession, is probably the strictest creed on forbidding the use of images of Jesus of any kind at all, going so far as to forbid us forming images of Jesus even in our mind. Most Presbyterians these days don’t hold so strictly to the Westminster on that point. But some, like the OPC and some PCA, will still view images in that way.
